AVONDALE, AZ – The Arizona Department of Transportation was dispatched to the scene of an injury collision that happened east of Friendship Park on Tuesday.
AzDOT first announced the crash at 4:53 p.m., saying it happened at the intersection of North Avondale Boulevard and West McDowell Road.
The exact cause of the collision and the extent of injuries were not reported.
Authorities are actively working to determine how the collision unfolded.
