MESA, AZ – At least one person lost their life to a head-on collision that took place in the Alma Gardens neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon.
According to 12 News, the crash happened at the intersection of West Broadway Road and South Nina Drive. Video footage showed an overturned Sprinter van on its side.
Based on the footage, it appeared as though the Sprinter van could have collided head-on with another vehicle.
Authorities shut down the area for several hours to accommodate the on-scene clean-up process.
