PHOENIX, AZ – At least one person was injured in a motor vehicle crash that happened east of Grand Canyon University before 4:45 p.m. Thursday.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said the collision took place at the intersection of North 31st Avenue and West Camelback Road. AzDOT crews did not issue any lane closures. However, drivers in the area are encouraged to avoid the area or seek alternative routes until workers can clean up all the debris from the road and remove the vehicle(s) from the site.
Authorities have not specified the exact cause of the collision or the extent of the injuries sustained. Updates will be added once our team learns more.
