PHOENIX, AZ – A freeway transition ramp in Deer Valley was closed following a collision late Friday afternoon.
According to a report by Arizona DoT, the crash happened at about 2:49 p.m. along the ramp from Loop 101 westbound at I-17 northbound.

Details concerning the cause of the crash are limited at this time. However, the ramp was closed for some time afterward, causing traffic to build up in the area.
