PHOENIX, AZ – Nine people were hospitalized following a three-vehicle collision on Camelback Road on Wednesday, according to AZFamily.
The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. and left three women in critical condition and six others with minor injuries, all of whom were taken to the hospital. According to video footage from AZ Family, it appears the collision was between a dark gray minivan and a maroon sedan, both of which sustained significant damage. The third vehicle involved was not seen on camera.
Police said all nine occupants are expected to survive.
Police shut down Camelback Road to allow crews to clean up debris from the collision.
Police do not suspect impairment to be a contributing factor behind the crash.
