News: Female pedestrian critically hurt in hit-and-run crash in Central Phoenix 

CENTRAL PHOENIX, AZ – A female pedestrian was left in critical condition as a result of a hit-and-run crash that happened in Central Phoenix on Tuesday.

The pedestrian was struck by the hit-and-run vehicle in the area of North 20th Avenue and Indian School Road, according to AZ Family reports.

Police and EMS crews pulled up to the scene before 10:30 p.m. An ambulance rushed the female pedestrian to a hospital for treatment of critical injuries.

Officials temporarily shut down the intersection for the investigation and have since reopened the area.

Police are working to determine what the suspect looked like and what kind of vehicle they were driving at the time of the collision.
