News: 68-year-old man’s life claimed in head-on crash with semi-truck in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – A 68-year-old man’s life was claimed in a head-on crash involving a semi-truck on Sunday, Arizona Family said.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m. off Buckeye Road and 71st Avenue. Police said the 68-year-old man, identified as Marshall Craig Davis, had drifted into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a semi-truck.

A second semi-truck appeared to have been hit by either the first truck or Davis’s.

Davis was pinned or entrapped inside his vehicle. Fire crews extricated him and pronounced him dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
