TEMPE, AZ – Five people had to go to the hospital following a rear-end collision that happened on U.S. 60 West Friday, according to Fox10Phoenix.
Preliminary details show that a driver of a Dodge pickup truck had struck the back of a Bob’s Barricade attenuator truck before 4:30 p.m. The initial rear-end collision caused the pickup truck to spin, which was then struck by a box truck.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety shut down the area for several hours so troopers could clean up the debris from the crash and remove the affected vehicles.
