GLENDALE, AZ – A pedestrian was seriously injured after getting hit by a car in Glendale on Thursday, ArizonaFamily said.
The pedestrian crash happened around 5 a.m. in the area of 59th Avenue and Palmaire Avenue and left the female pedestrian with serious injuries.
EMS located the female pedestrian on the road and rushed her to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities closed eastbound and westbound Palmaire Avenue and northbound and southbound 59th Avenue, from Glendale Avenue to Myrtle Avenue, for the on-scene clean-up process and investigation period.
During the road closures, drivers were asked to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
