LAVEEN VILLAGE, AZ – Four men and one woman were sent to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision off Loop 202 and 51st Avenue on Sunday.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. and trapped three people inside a vehicle, ABC 15 said.
It’s unclear whether the trapped people were able to free themselves or required help from firefighters. Regardless, EMS crews transported five people to the emergency room for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office is working to piece together the cause of the crash and has not announced any arrests or citations.
