News: 3 killed in semi-truck crash on I-10 in Chandler

CHANDLER, AZ – A fiery crash involving two semi-trucks and four cars killed at least three people in Chandler this morning, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

The incident happened sometime before 6:42 a.m. on the eastbound side of I-10 near Chandler Boulevard.

The investigation thus far indicates that an 18-wheeler failed to decelerate for stopped traffic and crashed into the back of another semi. The trucks also struck four passenger vehicles total, and the collisions caused a fire.

Police have not yet commented on how many people were injured in the crash, but they say that at least three people died.
