CAVE CREEK, AZ – Three people were injured in a collision involving an alleged DUI driver in Cave Creek on Friday, AZ Family reports.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said a driver of a Chevrolet pickup truck, the alleged DUI driver, was driving dangerously after coming out of Harold’s parking lot. The suspect drove the wrong way and crashed into a stopped GMC pickup truck, eight parked motorcycles, and three people.
One person sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene, while two others were seriously injured and rushed to a hospital.
One of the victims suffered a head injury, and another was left with a “significant abdominal laceration.”
Deputies said the victim showed signs of impairment and said they processed them for DUI.
