QUEEN VALLEY, AZ – A 19-year-old man lost his life to a fiery wrong-way collision that happened on U.S. 60 near El Camino Viejo on Saturday, AZ Family reports.
The wrong-way crash occurred before 7:30 a.m. The Arizona Department of Public Safety did not specify the events leading to the collision, but said the wrong-way driver, the 19-year-old man, died from his injuries at the scene.
Officials have since identified the decedent as Edwin Orlando Martinez-Caudillo, from Mexico. The other driver was uninjured.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
