PHOENIX, AZ – Three people were sent to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on I-17 SB near W Deer Valley Rd on Saturday, according to AZFamily.
The crash occurred around 1 p.m. It involved five to seven cars. First responders evaluated seven people. Four people signed refusals, and three were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries.
Crews shut down the area to process the scene. The area was reopened around 3 p.m.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
