PHOENIX, AZ – Two alleged DUI drivers went to the hospital Tuesday morning after their vehicles collided at a busy intersection in west Phoenix, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
The incident happened around 3:15 a.m. at the intersection of North 67th Avenue and West McDowell Road, which is just north of I-10.
The investigation thus far indicates that an SUV collided with the rear of a pickup truck at the intersection. Police think that both drivers may have been impaired at the time of the accident.
The victims suffered non-critical injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
