CHANDLER, AZ – Medics transported five people to the hospital on Tuesday after two cars collided at a busy intersection in Chandler, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
The incident happened sometime before 3:24 p.m. at the intersection of North Dobson Road and West Shawnee Drive, which is east of Loop 101 and north of West Warner Road.
Police say an Audi collided with a Chevy at the intersection. Reports indicate that the driver of the Audi may have been travelling at a high rate of speed at the time of the collision.
Two of the five injured people sustained serious injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
