PHOENIX, AZ – A 61-year-old man died Monday after his vehicle collided with another vehicle at a busy intersection in north Phoenix, reports azcentral.
The incident happened at night near the intersection of North 67th Avenue and West El Cortez Place, which is between West Happy Valley Road and West Jomax Road.
Police say that a southbound vehicle on 67th Avenue crashed into a second vehicle as it attempted to turn left from West El Cortez Place onto 67th Avenue.
Both vehicles carried two occupants each, and medics transported all four people to the hospital. One person died after transport. Authorities identified the victim as Ruben Garcia.
