News: Motorcyclist killed after colliding with sedan in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – A 37-year-old motorcyclist died after crashing into a car the morning of Christmas Eve on a busy roadway in east Tucson, reports KOLD 13News.

The incident happened early in the morning in the 8400 block of Broadway Boulevard, which is just west of East Old Spanish Trail.

Investigators say that a westbound 2015 Yamaha FZ07 rear ended a 2012 Dodge Charger.

Even though the motorcyclist was wearing a safety helmet at the time of the accident, he died at the scene from his injuries.

It is not yet clear if the driver of the Dodge sustained injuries in the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
