News: 2 people injured after SUV crashes into Glendale house

GLENDALE, AZ – Two people were injured after an SUV crashed into a house under construction on W. Northview Ave. on Thursday morning.

An SUV hit a tree, parked vehicle, drove across someone’s lawn, and finally struck an unoccupied home on W. Northview Ave. near N. 59th Ave. around 8:15 a.m., according to AZ Family.

A female and male in the SUV sustained non life-threatening injuries. Both left the vehicle prior to emergency crews arriving. It is unclear who was the driver. The man was reported as being uncooperative at the hospital.

Local authorities are investigating the crash and have not ruled out speed or impairment. A witness reported they heard the vehicle speeding.
