PHOENIX, AZ – A passenger died, and two drivers went to the hospital Sunday after a car rear-ended another vehicle at a busy intersection in Phoenix, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.
The incident happened just after 12:30 a.m. in the area of North 40th Avenue and West Peoria Avenue, which is near the Abraham Lincoln Traditional School.
The investigation indicates that an alleged DUI driver crashed his vehicle into the rear of another car, causing the second vehicle to hit a concrete wall along the roadway. The first vehicle overturned, killing a passenger .
Medics transported the drivers to the hospital with minor injuries.
A full investigation is underway.
