News: 1 life claimed, 2 hurt in double SUV collision in North Phoenix 

NORTH PHOENIX, AZ – One man’s life was claimed, and two others were injured in a double SUV collision in North Phoenix on Thursday.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd Street and Bell Road, according to Arizona’s Family.

Preliminary details show a driver of a blue SUV was driving on eastbound Bell Road when they turned into a private driveway and collided with a westbound red SUV.

A male passenger, who traveled inside the SUV, got trapped inside the vehicle. Fire crews extricated him, and medics rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.

First responders confirmed two other people were also taken to the hospital, where they later died.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
