WEST PHOENIX, AZ – One person lost their life and two others were injured in a collision that happened on I-10 near 43rd Avenue Sunday.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety told AZ Family that the crash happened after a driver of a Toyota Scion had crashed into a person pushing their Nissan Altima sedan, which became disabled. The collision happened around 2:30 a.m., and the person pushing their Nissan succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
The Nissan passenger and the Scion passenger were left with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to a hospital.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the details behind the deadly crash. No charges have been announced at this time.
