BUCKEYE, AZ – One person was sent to the hospital as a result of a bicycle collision that happened along White Tank Mountain Regional Park on Monday.
AZ Family said the cyclist was struck by a vehicle around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Sun Valley Parkway and Hassayampa Road. The cyclist was left with life-threatening injuries and is recovering.
Officials shut down the area, including the Sun Valley Parkway, for the scene clearance process.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office has launched a thorough investigation.
