News: Auto vs. pedestrian hit-and-run kills 1 in NW Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – A 58-year-old male pedestrian died early Saturday morning when a vehicle struck him before fleeing the scene, reports abc15 Arizona.

The incident happened just before 4 a.m. near the intersection of North 32nd Avenue and West Glendale Avenue, which is just southwest of Phoenix West Mobile Home Park.

The investigation thus far indicates that a westbound SUV struck the victim as he crossed Glendale Avenue.

Authorities identified the victim as Andrew Pyles.

Police are looking for a black SUV, which they believe could be a Chevy Tahoe. They encourage anyone with information or tips to contact the Phoenix Police Department.
