PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, authorities are investigating a deadly four-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck that occurred near 51st Ave and W Osborn Rd on Saturday.
The victim rear-ended another vehicle, causing the victim to lose control and enter the southbound lanes of traffic, where he collided with a semi-truck and another car around 11:30 a.m.
Emergency crews extricated the victim from his vehicle before pronouncing him dead at the scene. Nobody else was hurt in the collision.
Officials have not released the victim’s name.
Crews shut down the area to investigate the incident. The area was reopened six hours later.
