News: Pedestrian accident in central Phoenix leaves 2 men critically injured

PHOENIX, AZ – Two men were seriously injured when they were struck by a truck in central Phoenix last night, 12 News reports.

The men were attempting to cross near 32nd Street and Thomas Road some time before 10 p.m.

It is unclear if the men were crossing inside a designated crosswalk when the incident occurred. However, they were both transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear if that individual will face any charges at this time.
