News: 13-year-old bicyclist killed in hit-and-run in Goodyear

GOODYEAR, AZ – A 13-year-old boy was killed by a hit-and-run driver while riding his bicycle in Goodyear yesterday.

According to CBS 5, the victim was riding his bicycle in a neighborhood near Elliot Road and Cotton Lane when he was hit shortly before 3 p.m.

The boy was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.

The driver of the vehicle involved, a white Ford pickup truck, fled the scene. No arrests have been made at this time. Our team will update this blog as more information comes to light.
