Two-vehicle collision causes fire, kills Phoenix man

PHOENIX, AZ – A fiery two-vehicle collision on I-10 near I-17 in Phoenix left one person dead Tuesday night.

According to ABC 15, a Dodge Ram was eastbound on I-17 when the driver lost control and struck the median before hitting an oncoming Dodge Ram.

The drier of the eastbound Dodge, 27-year-old Braulio Silva Rodriquez, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver involved was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Investigators are working to establish an official cause of the crash at this time.

The I-10 was closed shortly after, but has reopened.
