News: Wrong-way driver dies after colliding with bus on AZ 101 Lp in Peoria

PEORIA, AZ – A driver died and seven people were injured when he collided with a bus on AZ 101 Lp between Thunderbird Rd and Bell Rd on Sunday, according to 12 News.

Felix Perez, 27, was driving a Chevy Silverado south in the northbound lanes of traffic when he collided with a large tour bus around 3:44 a.m.

Rescue crews transported Perez to an area hospital, where he died.

All seven people aboard the bus were hurt in the collision. One of the seven was ejected through the windshield of the bus. That person is recovering in the hospital.
