News: Women hospitalized after rollover plane crash in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – Two women were hospitalized following a rollover plane crash that occurred near Deer Valley Airport Friday morning. 

Phoenix fire crews told AZ Family that the plane crashed and overturned after allegedly experiencing an engine failure while on its way to the airport. Firefighters were dispatched to the area of 7th Street & East Pinnacle Peak Road and arrived at the scene around 5:30 a.m. 

EMS crews transported the two women to a hospital. One was treated for minor facial injuries, and the other sustained unspecified injuries and was taken as a precaution. 

The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.
