PHOENIX, AZ – Phoenix fire crews were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle collision before 7:30 a.m. Friday on I-10 East.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash occurred before 7:30 a.m. Fire crews used their fire truck to block the HOV and left lanes to tend to the crash scene.

The details leading up to the crash remain unclear. However, the accident appeared to have involved four or five vehicles. The vehicles and the occupants involved, who were seen outside their vehicles, appear to have been spared from serious injuries.
Officials are working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
