PEORIA, AZ – A woman was killed and a man was sent to a hospital following a rollover collision that happened off SR 74 and Lake Pleasant Road on Thursday.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety told AZ Family that one car had overturned after colliding with another vehicle. The force of the collision led a woman to succumb to her injuries at the scene.
A man was sent to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Troopers and Peoria Police shut down SR 74 in both directions from 87th Avenue and New River Road for the scene clearance and investigation process.
Officials have not released the woman’s name and have not specified the contributing factors behind the crash.
Peoria police are leading the investigation.
