PHOENIX, AZ – A woman was left in serious condition after a collision between a car and a city bus that occurred in the American Homes District Wednesday.
The crash took place around 10 a.m. in the area of 35th Avenue and Thomas Road, according to AZ Family. EMS crews hurried to the scene and took a female car passenger and a bus passenger to a hospital.
The bus passenger was taken to the emergency room as a precaution, while the female car occupant received treatment for serious injuries.
Authorities closed all directions for several hours for the scene clean-up process and investigation. No lane reopenings have been reported at this time.
