News: Woman arrested in connection to fatal 2023 collision in Phoenix 

PHOENIX, AZ – A 21-year-old woman was arrested on Monday, Sept. 29, in connection with a fatal collision that occurred on Sept.9, 2023, 12News reports.

Preliminary details show that the 21-year-old woman, identified as Bella Bonanno, was driving a vehicle with three passengers. She was speeding when she ran a red light at the intersection of North Tatum Boulevard and East Shea Boulevard and crashed into a ridesharing vehicle.

The ridesharing passenger, 28-year-old Alec Carbine, was left in critical condition and transported to a hospital, where he later died. The ridesharing driver and two of Bonanno’s passengers were left with minor injuries.

Another passenger of Bonanno’s was left with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Bonanno exhibited no signs of impairment.
