PHOENIX, AZ – A woman was arrested after an injury hit-and-run crash that happened on Sunday, 12News reports.
The woman, later identified as Brenda Barraza, struck a male pedestrian with her vehicle in the area of 24th Street and Pinchot Avenue.
Phoenix police arrived at the scene before 8 p.m. and said Barraza had initially fled the scene, but returned to the scene 20 minutes later on foot.
Police detained Barraza and then arrested her, who they said showed signs of impairment. She is being charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a crash.
