News: Victim of hit-and-run near Braemar dies from his injuries

GLENDALE, AZ – The motorcyclist who was struck by a hit-and-run driver near 67th Ave and Mountain View Rd on March 21 has died from his injuries, according to CBS 5.

Martin Hawkins, 61, was riding a motorcycle north on 67th Ave when a female driver pulled out in front of him around 6:30 p.m.

Rescue crews transported Hawkins to an area hospital, where he died.

Following the collision, the driver fled the area. Authorities located her and transported her to an area hospital. It is unclear if she will face any charges.
