PHOENIX, AZ – A vehicle accident is currently blocking the HOV lane on I-17 South along the North Black Canyon Freeway, AzDOT reports.
The crash was first announced at 4:00 a.m. and happened along milepost 204.8. Transportation crews are working to clear the scene. While traffic does not appear to be heavily impacted, drivers are asked to consider alternative routes as transportation personnel work to restore safe road conditions.
Officials have not disclosed the exact cause of the collision or said if anyone was injured.
