PHOENIX, AZ – A male pedestrian lost his life as a result of a pin-in crash that occurred in the Central City South neighborhood on Tuesday, 12News reports.
The incident unfolded before 11:30 p.m. A driver struck the male pedestrian in the area of 19th Avenue and Buckeye Road, which caused him to get pinned underneath the vehicle.
EMS crews rushed the pedestrian to a hospital, where he later died.
Phoenix Police suspect the male pedestrian was lying in the road when the collision happened.
Police said the driver stayed at the scene and has not announced any cautions or charges for them.
