MESA, AZ – Officials ordered the evacuation of four Mesa homes Wednesday after an accident caused a vehicle to crash through a wall containing a gas line, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.
Police say the incident happened Wednesday night near the intersection of Val Vista Drive and Broadway Road, which is just north of US-60.
The investigation thus far indicates that two cars collided with each other before one of the vehicles struck the wall. The cause of the accident is unclear at this time.
Authorities say at least one person was hurt in the crash. The severity of their injuries is unclear.
