SHOW LOW, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal semi-truck wreck that occurred on US 60 near mile marker 328, around 15 miles south of Show Low, on Tuesday, according to AZFamily.
Investigators believe the semi-truck driver, who was hauling mail, may have hit a deer and lost control of the semi-truck, causing it to roll over.
The semi-truck was on fire when first responders arrived at the scene around 1:45 p.m. They found the driver dead in the semi-truck’s cab.
Crews shut down the area so authorities could investigate the incident.
