News: Troopers investigate deadly crash on I-10 near Tonopah

TONOPAH, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal crash that happened on I-10 near mile marker 76 on Sunday, according to FOX 10.

The driver of a Toyota Highlander was driving at a high rate of speed when they collided with two people standing outside their disabled Nissan Frontier around 4:30 a.m.

Rescue crews pronounced one person from the Nissan and two people from the Toyota dead at the scene. They airlifted three other people to an area hospital.

Officials have not released the victims’ names.
