News: Tolleson head-on crash injures mom and child

TOLLESON, AZ – A mom and child went to the hospital with critical injuries Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash in Tolleson, reports Arizona’s Family 3TV.

The incident happened in the area of South 91st Avenue and West Buckeye Road, which is just south of the Costco Distribution Depot.

Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the crash but say that two vehicles collided head on.

One of the vehicles carried three occupants, including the mother and her three children. Two of the children suffered minor injuries.

The male driver of the second vehicle went to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Authorities have not ruled out impairment. A full investigation is underway.
