News: Suspected drunk driver causes 3-vehicle crash near Beardsley Park

PHOENIX, AZ – According to AZFamily, an alleged impaired driver caused a three-vehicle crash that injured three people near N 35th Ave and W Beardsley Rd on Wednesday night.

A person was driving at high speeds when they ran a red light and slammed into two other vehicles around 10 p.m.

One of the vehicles caught on fire and trapped a man inside. Emergency crews extricated the man from the vehicle.

First responders transported four people to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities processed the speeding driver for DUI.

The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the incident.
