News: 2 hurt in car hauler-pickup truck crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ – Two people were injured in a crash between a car hauler and a pickup truck on Interstate 17 near 7th Street on Thursday.

The collision happened after 10 a.m., AZFamily reports. Phoenix Police determined that the driver of the car hauler went across several lanes of traffic before crashing into a white pickup truck.

The car hauler crashed into a guardrail, leading part of it to dangle off the edge. The pickup truck overturned and ejected the driver.

While two people were injured, only one person — the pickup truck passenger — was sent to the hospital.

Police are pursuing a full investigation and have not reported any citations at this time.
