PHOENIX, AZ – A driver died after colliding with a wall near N 16th St and E Campo Bello Dr on Thursday, according to AZFamily.
Samuel Martinez, 24, was driving when he crashed into the wall around 6:30 a.m.
First responders provided aid to Martinez until rescue crews arrived and transported him to an area hospital, where he died.
The wreck caused a gas leak in the area. The gas was turned off until firefighters determined the area was safe.
Authorities believe Martinez may have been impaired.
