News: Single-car crash on I-10 in Casa Grande kills 3

PHOENIX, AZ – A baby, a preschooler, and an adult died early Wednesday morning when their vehicle crashed along the interstate in Phoenix, reports Fox 10 Phoenix.

Police say the incident happened at 4 a.m. on the westbound side of I-10, just south of SR-387.

The investigation indicates that a driver lost control of his vehicle and left the roadway. Upon reentry, the vehicle overturned, and three people died at the scene.

Medics transported four additional people, including one adult, a child, a teen, and an infant to a local hospital. The baby sustained critical injuries in the accident.

Authorities think the driver may have been exhausted at the time of the crash. A full investigation is underway.
