News: Phoenix hit-and-run on Grand kills pedestrian

PHOENIX, AZ – A pedestrian died Monday evening in Phoenix after a vehicle struck him on a major roadway before fleeing the scene, reports abc15 Arizona.

Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. on Grand Avenue, or US-60, north of Indian School Road.

The investigation indicates that the victim was walking in the outside lane of Grand Avenue when a car struck him and continued driving.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim, nor have they released any information about a suspected driver or vehicle.

A full investigation is underway.
