News: Single-car crash kills elderly man near Oro Valley

PIMA CO., AZ – An 87-year-old man died Monday night after his vehicle crashed along the roadway between Tucson and Oro Valley, reports KOLD News 13.

The incident happened late, near the intersection of North Oracle Road and West Magee Road.

Police say the driver crashed into a pole after running a stop sign in the intersection. The driver, identified as Robert Krudup, died at the scene of the crash.

A full investigation is underway.
