News: Semi-truck driver sentenced to prison for wreck that killed 5 people on I-10

PHOENIX, AZ – The semi-truck driver who caused an accident on I-10 near Wildhorse Pass Blvd that claimed the lives of five people was sentenced to 22 years in prison last week, according to 12 News.

Danny G Tiner, 38, was speeding and watching TikTok videos in a construction zone when he hit multiple vehicles on Jan. 12, 2023. Some of the vehicles that he hit then caught on fire.

The victims were Andrew Standifird, Gerardo Vazquez, Gilberto Franco, Ryan Gooding, and Willis Thompson.
