AVONDALE, AZ – A semi-truck driver struck and killed a motorcyclist on I-10 WB near Avondale Blvd Thursday morning, according to AZFamily.
David Litchfield, 67, was riding a motorcycle when he struck the rear of a vehicle slowing down on I-10. He was then ejected from the bike and run over by a semi-truck around 6:30 a.m.
First responders pronounced Litchfield dead at the scene.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
